If you think you’re pregnant, talking to someone over the phone can be difficult. You may not know what to say or how you feel. That’s why Birthright of St. Charles now offers text messaging.
Text Your Requests, Questions, & Concerns to a Friendly Ear
It’s becoming less common to pick up a phone and call, and we recognize that some women are more comfortable setting up an appointment for a free pregnancy test or to speak with a professional counselor over text message.
Our goal at Birthright is to provide you with pregnancy resources from a knowledgeable, non-judgmental environment. In addition to counseling, you can text your questions about:
- Maternity clothing & goods
- Legal needs
- Practical pregnancy assistance
- Household budgeting
- Education assistance
Therefore, we want to be available in every possible way so no matter how you prefer to communicate, you can do so reliably and safely.
Texting is Easy, Convenient, & Confidential
If you’re in a rush or simply don’t want to speak on the phone, you can reach us via text anytime during office hours:
- Tuesday-Friday 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- 1st & 3rd Monday 9 a.m. – 4 p. m.
- 2nd & 4th Monday 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.
- 1st & 3rd Saturday 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
If you text us outside of office hours, we will respond to you as soon as we are in the office and available. The same confidentiality measures used over the phone or in the office applies to text messages. We will never share your contact information or discuss your history with anyone unless we have your written permission.
