Facing an unplanned pregnancy can be intimidating. That’s why Birthright offers free counseling, whether you need:
- Advice on options
- Resources for medical help
- A support system
- Conflict mediation
When you come into Birthright for a free pregnancy test, you will have the option of speaking to one of our professional licensed counselors. Even if you haven’t come in for a test, you will still be able to make an appointment to speak with a counselor in a safe, comfortable, judgment-free environment.
All of our counselors at Birthright are professionally trained and licensed by the state of Missouri to provide you with accurate, up-to-date knowledge and resources. Even if you are 16, you can still come in for free and confidential counseling.
In individual counseling, you can come in as often as you need. All you have to do is set up an appointment, which can last from 15 to 45 minutes based on the needs that will be addressed. You can even set up your individual appointment and bring a family member or friend with you for additional support.
Home-Based Support Services
If you are pregnant need assistance, we offer home-based support services like Field Service. Field service is a pair of volunteers that give you a support system and caring, honest feedback. Like individual counseling, our home-based support services are free. All you have to do is speak to a counselor and decide whether you want weekly or bi-weekly visits.
After each visit, our volunteers will speak to your counselor about what was discussed with you and your decisions. Therefore, when you come back in to speak with your counselor, these things can be discussed in-depth.
